Lets say for the sake of argument that it is. It would still be a good idea to shut down schools. But the bigger deal by far is to get the last 30 or so percent fully vaccinated and then start getting boosters into folks.

Tough question to answer because some seasonal flu variants are less deadly than others. That said, Omicron is my favorite Covid variant. Mine came and went in a matter of days and I never even had a fever.

I was in contact last weekend with someone who turned out sick. Both my wife and I tested positive Tuesday. We don't know if it is Omicron but we are symptom free. Not even a sniffle. We have both have had two jabs of Moderna.

It is actually kind of a relief. I feel like I have been playing a game of dodgeball for two years and I can finally sit down.
