Thanks, Biden!!!

At this time of the year, I especially want to thank Biden for not being an insurrectionist like his predecessor.

America is becoming great again, because that insurrection attempt was thwarted on January 6th and continues to be resisted, despite the former President continuing to lie about the results of the last Presidential election.

I hope you’re also thankful for Biden’s open border policy allowing for fentanyl to cross over our border in alarming quantities killing thousands upon thousands of our citizens.

Don’t forget to thank him for high gas prices.

Make sure you thank him for the highest inflation rate since Carter.

Make sure you give president Biden his due allowing for over 400,000 Covid deaths on his watch. Thank him for also saving money for US. Tax payers by not wasting money on Covid test kits.

While reflecting on Biden’s accomplishments don’t forget to be thankful for his brilliant handling of the Afghanistan retreat and leaving billions of dollars worth of military equipment in the hands of the Taliban and other terrorist organizations as well as leaving American citizens behind.

Like he has one?

I'm sure it was just as easy to get fentanyl in the Trump years.

 Nobody ever seems to know just who these American citizens are. There are American supporters, who are native to Afghanistan and had good reasons not to leave. They had plenty of time to leave if they wanted to. It was not like the evacuation of Saigon.

Thanks, Biden, for getting on national television on the anniversary of January 6th, 2021 to openly expose the ongoing lies of your predecessor. Continue to hold that deceitful man responsible for the insurrection attempt. Democracy does not tolerate suppression of our votes, even if it is being mainstreamed by a major political party.

There is no voter suppression, requiring some form of ID is not voter suppression.

There is no voter suppression, requiring some form of ID is not voter suppression.

Shutting down polling stations in black neighborhoods, altering the early-voting hours to block "Souls to the Polls" voting drives, is voter suppression.

And nobody who demands voter ID really gives a rat's ass about "election integrity." Voter suppression is the only real motive.

Turning the Presidential electoral process over to partisan state legislators is also a potential new source of voter suppression.

Legislators are political officials, not members of the electoral college. Quit trying to suppress the votes of the public by allowing state legislatures to reverse the results.

Your constant lying is being tedious. Biden isn't to be fingered for any of this.

The blue states that make it hardest to vote

Democrats are criticizing Republicans for pushing restrictive voting laws. But states such as Joe Biden’s Delaware can make casting a ballot difficult.

If President Joe Biden wants to vote by mail next year in Delaware, he’ll have to provide a valid reason for why he can’t make the two-hour drive from the White House back to his polling place in Wilmington. Luckily for him, Biden’s line of work allows him to cast an absentee ballot: Being president counts as “public service” under state law. Most Delaware residents, however, won’t have such a convenient excuse. Few states have more limited voting options than Delaware, a Democratic bastion that allowed little mail balloting before the pandemic hit.

Biden has assailed Georgia’s new voting law as an atrocity akin to “Jim Crow in the 21st century” for the impact it could have on Black citizens. But even once the GOP-passed measure takes effect, Georgia citizens will still have far more opportunities to vote before Election Day than their counterparts in the president’s home state, where one in three residents is Black or Latino. To Republicans, Biden’s criticism of the Georgia law smacks of hypocrisy. “They have a point,” says Dwayne Bensing, a voting-rights advocate with Delaware’s ACLU affiliate. “The state is playing catch-up in a lot of ways.”

Delaware isn’t an anomaly among Democratic strongholds, and its example presents the president’s party with an uncomfortable reminder: Although Democrats like to call out Republicans for trying to suppress voting, the states they control in the Northeast make casting a ballot more difficult than anywhere else.

Just stop!
There is legislation that allows one side to negate electors wishes while appointing their own delegates

Just stfu

Voter ID was their OLD ploy!!

(Still works)

Show us “the fraud”?
Where’s the best!!

All BS

I note that nobody has contradicted this.

I know Trump had the most blacks and minorities employed EVER.

Trump broke records for most Americans working, jobs created, border security, and international peace.

Biden? OPENED THE BORDER - HIGHEST CRIME RATES EVER!

INFLATION - HIGHEST IN 40 YEARS!

AFGHANISTAN WITHDRAWEL KILLED 13 AND WAS JUST THE START OF HIS DISASTERS!

In the name of God, what has Biden done that ANYONE hasn't done better?

COVID 19? He forgot to order more tests. Has done nothing but made it worse!

 That bullshit again?!

Want to count monthly border crossings since Biden took office?

That's one thing Biden can set records on.

Democrat President Joe Biden’s border crisis reached a new level on Friday as data released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) showed that the Border Patrol has made approximately 1.66 million arrests of illegal aliens entering the U.S. from Mexico for Fiscal Year 2021.

“Border crossings surpassed 1.6 million annually at least twice recently, in 1986 and in 2000,” The Wall Street Journal reported. “In 2019, when crossings reached a peak under the Trump administration, the Border Patrol made about 850,000 arrests.”

The Journal added that the 1.66 million arrests in Fiscal Year 2021, which started in October 2020, was “the highest annual number ever recorded.”

CBP said that it recorded 192,001 encounters along the southern border for the month of September, a slight decrease from the previous month.

Chad Wolf, former acting DHS secretary and Heritage visiting fellow, slammed Biden in a statement over the latest numbers, calling his policies a failure.

Instead of upholding the rule of law, the administration has chosen to open the border by eliminating effective, humane border security policies that were working, replace those policies with no alternative, and then process the subsequent historic flows of illegal aliens into the United States as quickly as possible,” Wolf said. “And make no mistake, contrary to the Biden administration’s spin, the vast majority of those apprehended at the southern border are being released into our communities, as CBP’s own publicly available numbers show. The men and women of CBP deserve so much better than this. They deserve leaders who will help them do their jobs, enforce the rule of law, and give them the tools they need. The Biden administration has done the opposite at every turn, and we’re all paying the price for it.”

Mark Morgan, former acting CBP commissioner and Heritage visiting fellow, warned Americans to not be “fooled” by the Biden administration’s attempts to “spin these still sky-high numbers as some sort of win.”

“These 192,000 apprehensions are still more than 40,000 higher than the highest monthly total during the 2019 crisis, a crisis that then-President Trump quickly and successfully moved to solve,” Morgan said. “The Biden administration knowingly created a crisis because it sees a political benefit in mass illegal immigration, and thus it has no interest in slowing the historic surge to our border.”

That pretty much torpedoes his credibility.

You have 2 months to vote, if that’s not enough tough tartans. It used to be that
mail-in, absentee ballots were requested by the voter, not arbitrarily canvassing the whole state with no controls over the process. We need to eliminate Covid protocol and get back to the way we voted in the past.

The way we voted in the past was to put paper ballots into a glass globe in a wooden frame. The globe had to be broken -- in public view -- before counting could begin.

Maybe we should look at that.

A right-winger citing another right-winger's opinion...yawn.

But even once the GOP-passed measure takes effect, Georgia citizens will still have far more opportunities to vote before Election Day than their counterparts in the president’s home state, where one in three residents is Black or Latino.

Of course, the issue with Georgia at this point is only partially about access to the polls. The bigger issue is measures that don't prohibit voting but do make it a lot more inconvenient (i.e. outlawing bringing food and water to people waiting in line to vote), or that facilitate throwing out legitimate votes (the measure to let Republicans take over counting the votes in any county they like). So while they may have a point about Delaware, that's really beside the point.

I am, incidentally, all for making it easier to vote absentee in the Northeast. It would make my life a lot easier every two years.

US Jobless Rate Sinks to 3.9% as Many More People Find Jobs

U.S. employers added a modest 199,000 jobs last month while the unemployment rate fell sharply, at a time when businesses are struggling to fill jobs with many Americans remaining reluctant to return to the workforce.

Associated Press Jan. 7, 2022

https://www.usnews.com/news/us/arti...ave-rebounded-last-month-before-omicron-surge

Let's Go Joe!!
It's a mixed bag job report with something for everybody.

 • Unemployment is currently down but expected to rise because of the rise in the Omicron variant amongst the anti-vaxxers (poll was pre-surge)
 • White hot job market for non-entry-level jobs, people are changing jobs for more money at a very high clip.
 • Wages are rising steadily for non-entry-level positions
 • Still four million jobs shy of pre-plague levels
 • Entry level employers still denying the new reality and reporting significant job openings
 • Economy grew at an annualized rate of 7 percent (!!!) last quarter. which in "normal" times would be phenomenal news, but most of that growth was recovery from the piss-poor 4th quarter last year under the former guy's mis-managed regime

The Usual Suspects will be here shortly to cherry pick the report for "proof" that this reflects poorly on President Biden.

Thanks, Biden, for defeating that immature failed business man in 2020. It's good to have a grown-up in charge.
