President Biden was seen exiting Air Force One today at Andrews Air Force Base,
in the middle of a major snow storm in DC, MD and VA.

Conditions were horrible at AAFB, as ground crew worked diligently to clear
the runway and ramps and to get the ground equipment ready while snow was
falling at a rapid clip of several inches per hour.

The Biden family was returning from Delaware where they spent the holiday weekend.

The plane would hardly get into the air before having to land again. Strange there isn't some simpler way to get him such a short distance.

Yep. I don't think it takes commercial flights any more. Last time I landed there it was a commuter flight. Biden didn't fly from there even when he was living in Wilmington and commuted to his Senate job. He took the train.

He could land at Philadelphia but that would be too congesting to get him back to Wilmington on I-95. I once had to sit on that major highway in a half-hour backup when Pence was taken from the airport into Philly.

I just don't see using Air Force One for a trip that short and he couldn't land anywhere close to either of his houses in Delaware.
