After everything that is known about Trump--mostly from his own mouth or publicly viewable actions--anyone still supporting him is just downright stupid. There are other, less problematic rotten people they could support to better result and less embarrassment to themselves.

It was a dumb idea in the first place. The story is a year old. It’s not a top of mind issue with anyone other than talking heads on cable news channels.

Some feared his 1/6 presser would be a call for more violence, or at least so interpreted by followers inclined to so interpret it.

The only thing in Florence is a collection of prisons. What is the mob going to do, free the prisoners?

If they want to run around in the desert dust and call for violence, it would be a good thing to photograph and identify who the instigators are. Plus, the FBI agents would be able to get some good Mexican food on the drive between the Arizona airports and Florence.

Win-win situation.

Don't give them any ideas -- but, the problem is not what happens in Florence, it's how Trump's messaging will be taken by redhats all over the country.
