The Dem-run (even in red states) urban agglomerations remain America's "ideopolises," the places where all innovation happens that matters. That has not changed due to political correctness or anything else, and it won't change in your lifetime. Breaking the red states out of the Union would make no difference there.

Covid lockdowns highlighted this more than probably anything else could have. If I can work from home why the fuck am I paying rent in Manhattan or SanFranJose??

Doesn't change the fact that even within each party there are large disagreements on the governments role in HC and VAST differences across parties, and a 1 program for all 50 states program just isn't going to happen much less be functional in the current political climate. Not ANY time soon.
