Just when you thought DeSantis couldn't get any worse

I would LOVE to see all these keyboard warriors organize their friends, BLM, Antifa, whoever. The more the merrier. Charter some buses and roll on down to Tallahassee to stage some really massive anti-DeSantis protests.

Block major roadways, break windows, burn cars, assault people. Yessir, that surely would be something to see. :)

I can definitely see why you - and DeSantis - would like that. But there's no need for us to sink to your level.

Of course. Intellectually beneath you, right?

Then answer this. Why is there such an uproar over passing a law allowing parents to sue the school boards over something that the "progressives" tells us doesn't even exist? Hmmmm? Obviously if it doesn't exist there will never be a suit filed. It would be like passing a law to allow property owners to sue space aliens if they trespass. Actually, according to the "progressives" the likelihood of space alien trespass stands a better chance of ending up in court, right?

The law in question allows them to sue over things that do exist but that they don't want studied.

Because that law is worded so broadly as to do real damage, as opposed to only outlawing teaching of CRT in schools (that, not CRT at large, is what "doesn't even exist"). It has the potential to effectively ban any teaching about slavery and the Civil War or, worse, to force the teaching of historical myths like "The Civil War wasn't really about slavery, it was about states' rights".

Hmmmm? Obviously if it doesn't exist there will never be a suit filed.
If you know the wording of the law in question, you know it is NOT that simple. But it sure sounds good on Fox News, I get that.

Teahing history is one thing. It's another thing to be an anti-American apologist because you have an agenda. Every country has done bad things. Even France refuses to take down statutes. That should tell you something about how dumb this is.

Anti american apologist...lol

Never go full bobo.

Lol, put down the bottle you drunken retard. :)

Exactly how is it "anti-American" to take down statues of soldiers who took up arms against the USA? That they did so in the name of slavery is horrible, but even laying that aside...

Hoe does taking down a statue fix any real problem? It's virtue signaling.

Does this one include 'You have to go to college and get a degree. It doesn't matter what the degree is" How about "government can fix most problem." Or maybe "socialism has never really been tried."

No, it's mainly about things whitewashed. Lies My Teacher Told Me:

Loewen spent two years at the Smithsonian Institution, where he studied and compared twelve American history textbooks then widely used throughout the United States.[3] He published his findings in Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong (1995), which was republished in 2007, and then again in 2018.[9] He concluded that textbook authors propagate factually false, Eurocentric, and mythologized views of history. Loewen points out in the book that many of the distortions found in American history texts are "not even by the authors whose names grace the cover."[10] In March 2012, the book's publisher, The New Press, listed Lies My Teacher Told Me as their top all-time bestseller.[11] The book reflects Loewen's belief that history should not be taught as straightforward facts and dates to memorize, but rather as analysis of the context and root causes of events.[3]

You have a link to the complete text of the proposed legislation, right?

They only do that in their own warrens
where the political class tolerates it...

;) ;)

They do know where the weak hold the reins of power.

Actually, they are very strong in their belief system
which comes straight out of the 60s and the violence
that dominated the campuses where they held sway
and that is why they condone the violence in their
urban habitats; it's become normative to them...

I beg to differ, I was in college back then and the only 'strength' in their belief system was to use it to shield their criminal activities.

So what are their proposals WRT the legal system? Do they have a model to propose? None that I'm aware of.

I'll tell you what...

If it were the right protesting in left-wing manner and fervor.

Those States/Municipalities would have the full force of the police
and the National Guard on them in a heartbeat.

They want the protests, they want the visuals
and they want the fear and destruction to
remind everyone on the right just who
is in charge and calling all the shots.

Figuratively and literally.

;) ;)

Their only model is fear us,
obey us and pretend
to respect us...

As Harrison Sensei used to teach:
Fear is a duck that waddles and quacks like respect
and a helluva lot easier to attain. Their ideas are transitory and fleeting,
relegated to whatever, in the moment, the mob has been inspired to be bleating...

You seem unfamiliar with the events of last January 6th.
