The establishment media’s online readership has reportedly collapsed without the aid of Donald Trump’s America First presidency.

The Hill, Washington Post, New York Times, Politico, Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Vox Media have lost a large percentage of monthly unique visitors since Trump led the nation, according to Comscore data cited by the Journal.

"Newspapers, television, all forms of media will tank if I’m not there,” Trump predicted in 2017, “because without me, their ratings are going down the tubes.”

Politico’s readership has reportedly declined the greatest amount at 48 percent. The Post‘s page views are reportedly fewer by 28 percent, followed by the Times at 15 percent, then the Journal and Vox Media at nine percent.

The Wall Street Journal had story about this today. Washington Post has been hit especially hard. New York Times as well.

If you're suggesting that somehow reflects well on Trump or poorly on Biden...it, well, doesn't. A more likely explanation is, there's no longer any push to see what incredibly stupid thing the president said yesterday to embarrass us in front of the whole world. So Trump was probably right for once regarding his effect on reading the papers, but not for the reason he undoubtedly wanted to think.

True. Our current president’s handlers won’t even let the
President answer any questions from the media.

Ding Ding Ding!!!!!!!

No news is good news.

Of course, that won't stop some of them from manufacturing breathless headlines about President Biden's administration.

It must really suck for them to have to do that ^ again after four years of the made for T.V. garbage coming out of the White House.

Awwww

Well, let's take the proposition as read and then ask ourselves if the legacy MSM (CNN, MSNBC, etc) were to actually cover emerging news without political bias, what would their viewership truly be?

How many "unique viewers" would they have if they covered, IN DETAIL, Hunter's laptop? Or Ashley's diary? Or any of the other current events that are being swept under the rug, like the Cuomo bros sexual harassment, instead of being reported on?

If the *news media* actually covered and reported the news instead of *opinion* they might have viewers and ratings worth their advertising revenues.

BTW, whinging about how Fox News isn't news doesn't change the basic premise that if the Left Wing media actually WAS news, they wouldn't have the problems they're having.
