Remember he said he was tough on Putin. Well, he's getting ready to surrender Taiwan as well. China just told us they would fire on US forces if they try and aid Taiwan. Remember all the way back to his cowardice on Cuba.

And his pants-pissing cravenness on killing Osama bin Laden.

He is an insult to American manhood and totally unfit for high office. He's a national embarrassment to all who have gone before him. OH, and he probably really does wet the bed.;)

The stench of weakness and appeasement is wafting from the WH. Our enemies recognize it like a shark detects blood in the water.

Biden has ordered the immediate delivery of billions of dollars worth of US military equipment to Taiwan and Ukraine as a welcoming gift for the Russians and Chinese.

Taiwan must warn China if they invade, Taiwan will destroy its semiconductor manufacturing facilities. That's the main economic reason why China wants to control Taiwan, and the threat could deter an invasion. Taiwan is the World's biggest manufacturer of semiconductors. This is also the reason why Samsung is opening a 16 billion dollar semiconductor plant in Texas in anticipation of a possible Chinese takeover of the plants and technology in Taiwan. Just a glimpse into what is being tossed.

I think an invasion of Taiwan will exact a high price in blood and treasure on China and could expose some of China's military weaknesses.

So wait, now Putin is bad again?

I wish you right wingers would make up your minds.

Their Orange God wished he could govern like Xi and Putin, which is probably why he tried to destroy American democracy.

SAD!!!

Us? It wasn't so long ago that Hillary was making nice with Putin's Foreign Minister to make nice with Russia, offering him a reset (actually an emergeny stop) button to push.

That was a good thing. If possible we want to be on good terms with as many people as is possible. Still we haven't changed our minds a great deal. Certainly not in the flip floppy way conservatives do.

He was always bad, but he wasn't in cahoots with Trump and his economy is too small to be a real threat to the US, save for his nukes which he isn't going to launch.

When Trump tied to improve uS-Russia relations, you mouth-breathing imbeciles said he was Putin's puppet. How is that any diferent from what Hillz was doing?

I'm not gonna do an archive dive for that. And that's forgetting that something important changed between the beginning of Obama's term and Trump's. One was dealing with a Russia that hadn't done a whole lot to us in a while after that anybody with a lick of common sense knew the Russians had interfered with our elections.

Situations change and eight years is a long enough time to change.

Russia interfered because Russia always interferes. They've done it since it was possible to do it. Ted freaking Kennedy begged the Russians to in 1984 and even tried to make deals with Andropov for it.

The Army, Air Force and Marines got to test their new stuff in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Navy was largely left out.

Perhaps a naval battle in the South China Sea will be a good proving ground for all the new gadgets.

While I presume you are correct there is no evidence they have actually done anything in the past. Not the part about since it was possible to do it since that would mean they've been doing it for longer than we've even been in any sort of competition with them. Still they didn't collude with one side or the other and we know Trump's team were involved.

I don't care about 1984 to be perfectly honest. Something from nearly 40 years ago and before the fall of the wall ( a very important historical point) is pretty much meaningless today.

Will you be among the first to volunteer?

And what they found is the same as they did in Vietnam: If you lack the political will to vanquish the enemy, all the bombs in the world will not bring you victory.
