New TIPP poll: Just 22% Of Americans Want Joe Biden To Run For President Again

I don't want Biden to run in 2024 (even if he's still alive then). That has nothing to do with how grateful I am that he is president now and Donald Trump isn't.

But what about polls for 2028?? Is Ivanka still leading that one?

That's because you want the country to fail.

80+ year old people shouldn't do anything but golf and drink tea. You all know 80 year olds and wouldn't even get in the car them driving.

Lets start with the deficit by year, and while Trump is included in this, this is not about Trump, its about the over all trend going back exactly thirty years. Obama's first year shows a massive spike but that's because the various wars started being counted on the books instead of under various provisions. The money being spent was the same, it just was coming from other sources. Its worth noting though that by the time Obama left office he was getting close to where Bush left off despite having the wars being official. There is no logical reason to believe that the trend wouldn't have continued under Trump without various tax cuts.

Next lets look at the market per president, while its true that a president is all but guaranteed to see the highest stock market of all time (we really need to stop charting that bullshit. When I was born in 1983 the global population was 4.7 Billion. As of 2000 it was 7.8 billion. When you combine population growth with emerging markets it no surprise that every year sees new highs in the market or that this movie did better numbers than we saw before. I'd bet that the New Matrix movie makes more money and sells more tickets than the original whether or not its good or utter garbage.) Lets get back on track for a second however.

Democrats have three of the top five slots as far market growth and while tied if we extend to the top ten there does come a point in history where some of the data becomes irrelevant. Eisenhower would at best (for your side of the argument) a RINO. He continued a lot of the programs from before, worked to desegregate the military. ITs kinda hard to believe that there was a time, in living history where People of Color weren't even good enough to die with whites. And I'm not going to dig through WW1 and WW2 to prove this particular fact because if you're gonna deny that in a segregated military and society that certain troops were thrown into meat grinders, it might have been necessary to the mission, but the people thrown in were viewed as expendable we might as well start debating if penguins fly. Worst case scenario he would right around where Hillary, G Dubb land where if you take away one or two key issues there isn't a lot of difference. He'd be with us.

Growth per household is another example and that is something that affects average Americans. Top three, all Democrats. Even Obama who was handed a shit sandwich to work with was moving the right direction. by the end and while the Republicans hold three spots in the positive direction you have to stack three Repubicans to catch up to the top two Democrats.

Lets talk crime. Crime over all is in a good place right now and anything the media tells you to the contrary is a fact that in the Cable News especially, but news over all there is an iron clad law that if it bleeds it leads. Its been twenty fucking years. Every one of us should at minimum be able to identify what separates Shia, Shiate and Sunni Muslims. We should understand how the conflicts stretching back (Really as far the colonial era) to World War one and how we (mostly the Brits and French mind you) carved up both the middle ease and Africa without having a clue about the cultures, tribes, resources and the such.

Still the numbers show a sharp decline under both Clinton and Obama, a slowing of that decline under Bush and over all an uptick that did admittedly began at the end of Obama's term but Trump was over his four years worse trend wise than Obama and again we are looking at which way the rate is going he'd still be worth noticing that we were in a bad place in the 80's.

The Drug Wars which started under Nixon spiked the gang wars and had a cascading effect in the US especially among the black community. Just so I don't leave out pertinent facts.

Illegal immigration is a tough one as it grew under Clinton, plummeted under Bush but the trend continued under Obama and some things are difficult to accurately gauge. Its a lot easier to get from a failing grade to a C or a B even than it is to get from an A to an A+. So I'm not going to claim that Obama didn't flat out ride Bush's program because he probably did just that with a few minor tweaks. Likely he had nothing to do with any changes anyway.

The important take away here however is that Obama DID end lower than Bush but the Media would have you believe the border was a crisis under Obama left and right. . .well until the Right started trying to pretend Obama was putting kids in cages at comparable rates to Trump. I'm too bored to dig back enough to see what the trends over all are over say the last century and its hard to make some the data make sense. During WW1, WW2 and lets just call them the expy wars because I don't care which south eastern Asian country we were actively involved with came complete with presidents opening the flood gates, employing more African Americans and Women into the general work force. Turns out when you force all the men under 30 to play Super Lottery only you have fairly good chance of winning a trip to a jungle filled with snakes, crocs, tigers and people who know the terrrain and are fighting for their lands and families.

Ultimately a lot of the illegal immigration problem is something we brought on ourselves. And it continues in no small part because both parties (at least at the higher levels) benefit from it. Democrats get to point out facts like ICE seems to be really good at finding and deporting illegals and really bad about finding out who is hiring them and Republicans get to dog whistle the troops into a frenzy. Everybody but the below median Americans benefit. And even the median income is kinda bullshit because the median is around 60k This factors in people who could add a zero or two to that amount. Neither side has a truly vested interest in solving the problem which isn't that complex.

None of this means that Democrats are by any stretch of the imagination perfect, they are good enough that calling them the lesser of two evils is like being in a room with The Joker and The Punisher and your only take away is "Both of them kill people" not one of them has multiple cemetaries that stand testament to the innocents his killed and one focuses on the bad people. Killing is wrong and he does get some innocent kills but over all you are better with one.

And that's just scratching the surface. If we go global or state by state (in some cases regions instead of states) the trend on murder, abortion, belief in science (evolution and Climate Change) belief in God all trend in the same direction. That's just the reality of the case.

Its difficult to accurately gauge our global respect levels because I honestly don't REALLY trust some of the polling data when they get to ask individuals. Most people don't follow politics, especially in other countries. I think Netanyaho (however that is spelled) is scum, but I don't hate Israel or by proxy Jews. I think Israel gets away with a lot of crap. I don't have a huge opinion in one direction or the other on Xig down his regime. I do recognize that what he and his are doing to the Uyngurs/Uingurs (I've seen several spellings). I would probably have pulled out of the Olympics not just pull out the important people who are suppsoed to be making connections. It sucks to be those kids, but it sucked to be a producer while we were on lockdown. Shit happens and a certain amount happens to you one way or another. Some of it you could have dodged had you thought ahead and some is 9/11, Brexit and the rise of nationalism that brought us both Trump and the British Prime Minister who looks like a troll doll was released into the public. Jinping. I dohttps:

I've been told numbers don't lie, and while I disagree to some extent because presentation matters, these are mostly raw numbers here. I didn't cherry pick I put in "x happens by year/president" and checked a few sites and graphs and they all are if not identicle. I would add in that with things like 9/11 and the Pandemic some of the data

Exactly; I voted for Biden, and if the only choice was Biden again vs Trump- I'd vote for Biden again in a heartbeat without hesitation. But with that said...I would hope BOTH parties would come up with someone better than the two who ran last cycle. I'm dissappointed with Biden (an understatement) but I sure as heck don't want Trump back.

Meaningless poll.

A new NPR poll out today has more good news for Democrats. 🤡

“Americans don't feel the direct payments or expanded child tax credits doled out earlier this year helped them much, according to the latest NPR/Marist poll, and they don't see Democrats' signature legislation as addressing their top economic concern — inflation.

“Additionally, they're down on the job President Biden is doing, don't give him much credit for the direct payments or tax credits, and have soured on the direction of the country.”

If this is your idea of tyranny you must have hated school. I mean a bell and someone old enough to be your mother was telling you when to sit down and when you could go to the bathroom?!
