How do you post a picture on a thread?

Everytime I try, the link just shows up. And it's even more complicated to post a picture I took myself. I want the actual picture to show up in the tread, not the link. How do I do this?

I saw a few other people also had trouble posting a picture. How do you guys do it?

You either place the tag url around the url where the image lives or you click on the icon above of the mountains and the sun and paste the url into the dialog box.

Of course that only works with picture files and gif files.

It won't work with video links.

Uh uh. It didn't work.
I copy the link, then I click the mountain and get the popup, then paste the link and it does the URL[IMG/], but when I hit "Submit" nothing is there, and when I go to "Edit", the link isn't there either, so it's like it was never inserted.

Then the URL isn't ending with the picture ... i.e. naked.jpg

If the link is to a web page that displays the picture, right click on the pictrure and then click on the "copy image address" if offered. Otherwise you will have to get just the image on a browser page then copy the address at the top.

The link should look like this...

And display like this...

https://i.imgur.com/Bry7KeH.jpeg

You would have to save it to your local machine and edit it with a program. That might be a little hard if you do everything on your phone. Then you have to put it somewhere out on the net, Imgur, and them post it from there.
