I admit i dont do it a lot, its on a need to do basis only.
Today i was forced to go shopping for a new winter coat, FFS!! i have one already, but it was decreed that I need a new one.
so ignoring all sensible covid precautions - busy shops, touching things touched by other people etc (in truth i thought she'd bail on it at that point) the mission was on.
I tried the usual things of looking at very expensive stuff (which is what is usually thrown back at me when looking at thing i want - like chain saws, electroninc pyro firing systems (Cobra are seemingly not worth the money), nail guns etc) and meet with worryingly little opposotion
so went the other way and looked at bargain prices (some decent stuff in that range actually) and met hostility on a scale i never knew she could have )
I tried the female shoe shopping thing of keep going back to ones looked at earlier - even with covid dangers clearly explained to her - she quite liked that i was 'showing an interest' FFS! this wasnt going well.
My biggest thing though was this - There were shit loads of blokes trying stuff on and looking at themself in mirrors, turning left and right stepping back!! FFS!
My critera are cost (low enough) and does it fit, nearly fit or could fit (either one will do) tne rest is sheer boredom and time wasted.
WTF goes on in the minds of a male who enjoys and takes an interest in Clothes shopping?
