I looked, and I didn't have the problem. Maybe it's browser dependent. I don't think the site would or could erase a page that you already downloaded.

We have been getting reports about this issue for the last 24 hours, and we're working on it. It looks like it's likely related to our recent work on expanding the interface languages at Lit.
Are you seeing the bug when you are logged in, or only when you're logged out? We have only been able to reproduce it for logged out users.

I logged out and tried. The story page stayed up for less than a second before it blanked.
When I tried to login again, the login page blanked the same way. It was impossible to login to the story side.
I'm running the most recent version of Firefox available on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
Edit: The old home page stays up. It seems like everything else blanks. I'm not logged in.
Edit2: Not quite every thing else blanks. Here's what I found on the old home page that stays up:
The Holiday contest page
The Halloween contest page
The Author-organized event page
Using the old format, all of the on-site links at the bottom of the page

It's not working for me on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on my desktop (both incognito, and I can't log in to the story side but can in the forum) nor on Safari on IOS 14.8something. I was logged in there and it was working, but then stopped and I can't access my user panel at all or a story for more than 2 seconds.

Manu, I don't know if this matters or if it will help but I'll throw it out there just in case.
When I accessed several member's submission lists through the signatures here on the forum, I was unable to see STORIES for more than a second or two before blanking, but that didn't happen with the POEMS. I could read (or scan in the case of my long one) the entire poem and the screen didn't go blank.

There are issues with comments as well, when looking at them from a story page. Oldest to newst works. But newest to oldest doesn't work.

I stayed logged in on my phone and I can see my dashboard but if I go to open any story it blanks out after one to two seconds. On my computer, I can't log in because the login page blanks out after one to two seconds.
