Mind Control: Permissible or Rape?

Hello, I'm an avid Lit reader and I'm considering writing a story of my own. However I'm stumped, if I were to write about a woman who is targeted with mind control for sexual needs, is that rape in the eyes of Lit moderators? I wanted to ask before giving my current idea any further thought.

Not really active here on the forum, so forgive me if this topic has came up before.

In my opinion, most mind control stories are indeed rape, but Literotica allows non-consensual sex so long as all participants end up enjoying it.

there is an entire Mind Control section on the story Index. I don't venture there so can't tell you the limits.

Indeed, mind control has its own section, divided from general non-con/reluctance. So it must be generally okay, apparently.

Violent rape is banned from non-con category (but not necessarily elsewhere, given it's not the focus of the story), the victim should enjoy the sex for at least some degree (with I think it extremely twisted and worse, but that's the rules).

In mind control the victim is usually unwillingly willing, oftentimes enthusiastically, and so it's the ideal embodiment of the above rule, actually.

If you have a victim who is trapped with their conscious mind while the body acts autonomously on the will of the controller, and explore that horror in great detail and depth... I imagine you may or not possibly hit rejection.

But stories are rarely analyzed with comprehension, the first hurdle you have to clear is some garden variety kind of vocabulary filter that would flag your text "underage" randomly.

I never understood why mind control has its own section here. That is just another form of non-consent because you're still forcing someone against their will to submit sexual acts to you. There are some stories in that section where they use mind control or hypnosis in some other way that does not lead to nonconsent sex, which isn't nonconsent, so it makes sense for that section. But as soon as someone is forced to have sex against their will, in shouldn't be in that section, but instead in the nonconsent section.

....

I appreciate your replies and opinions. I agree, mind control is just another form of non-con. I had a story in mind, but I'd hate to write it and then get a rejection, so I guess I'll pass.

There's a tonne of non-con on Lit. Mind Control is this weird category where just about anything is allowed. Want to make your mother and sister and that girl next door who never looks at you all into depraved sluts who worship you? Go for it. Shuffle it in amongst a bunch of hypnosis fantasies, and there you have it.

In true Non Con, the coercion is physical or emotional. In the real world, the scenarios would mostly be traumatic and unlikely to lead to pleasure.

In Mind Control, the coercion is in some way magical. There's a loss of free will, and it's simple fantasy.

The real downside to Mind Control stories is that so many of them end up reducing people to zero-dimensional sex objects.

I could argue that's not necessarily a downside. Pretty often that's really the point.

Don't be discouraged. If anything, this isn't the only site in existence to post stories to either. Tell the story first, think how to publish it second. Writing to code is bad idea unless you're paid for that explicitly.

I'm not saying it can't be erotic, but it does often derail the actual plot of the story, if any, into adolescent wish fulfilment. How do you seduce the reader if you can't even be bothered to seduce the characters?

ETA: Imagine if instead of a magic ring that allowed you to control women absolutely, you had a magic ring that made any women around you uncomfortable with the idea of wearing knickers or tights or even trousers, basically anything that concealed their inexplicably aroused intimates; and that turned any men around you into eager voyeurs...

While I don't disagree that mind control sex is rape, I 100% believe that it is. Honestly I think we could include a lot of things that aren't sex into. . .some charge that doesn't exist since mind control as far as we can prove is fake. If I control you and make you do really anything but lets stick to big stuff, Murder, grand theft and arson. I imagine that most of you get what I'm saying.

The fact is that there are certain words in the English (or at least American) that have certain details that we associate with. Rape is violent. The woman doesn't need to get bloodied or anything but you have to rough her up for a lot of people to consider it rape.

People care so little about other sorts of rape that they will flat out say women should just aim for certain careers. If you want to be a news anchor on tv or get a role on television or the Silver Screen you run a pretty big risk of having to at the least show the goods. We collectively (so no one take this as me saying you specifically) just accepted that. If she wasn't prepared maybe she should have gone into something like nursing or teaching. She knew exactly what she was getting into.

I would argue that someone threatening to fire a single mother with eviction or termination but giving her a chance if only she remembers to swallow should be called rape.

As has already been mentioned NonCon is allowed, it even has its own category. A good rule of thumb depending on your skill level you can get away with a lotl. Laurel is a loving goddess.

Simplified wish fulfillment was what I meant by "the point" from author's perspective. Also I do believe there might be a reader somewhere for even the most brutal, unexplained and unjustified objectification. Can it be done better, sure. But for a certain subset the unnecessary of any active seduction is really the wish getting fulfilled cheaply.

Yup, that's way more up my alley, sure. ;)
