Florida reports lowest daily coronavirus cases per capita in nation

And the states with the most severe covid restrictions are among the highest. You're not controlling it. Covid is going to do whatever it wants.

Florida has the 8th highest Covid death rate per million in the USA. It is however doing slightly better than Mississipi, Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, and Arkansas but is falling behind Oklahoma and South Carolina.

Source. Worldometer and Princeton University.

Your numbers refer to 7 day snapshot of information, a sample so small it is statistically irrelevant.

The figures I quoted are an accurate aggregate of 2 years experience from a respected American University and International source.

"An accurate aggregate of 2 years experience" is not what this thread is about. At least that's how I read the title, which I thought was a reference to current data.
Maybe the author of the thread can clarify.
No matter what, Florida does have a low CO infection rate now.

It wasn’t long ago leftists were predicting massive fatalities in FL. They called DeSantis a murderer.

Ever notice how they’re wrong about everything?

Except in this case where Florida has had massive fatalities due to DeSantis's policies & misinformation.

"According to data compiled by the New York Times, Florida — the third largest state — has the third most COVID-19 deaths and cases in the nation, with more than 3.6 million cases and more than 59,000 deaths since February 2020. When adjusted for population, Florida’s COVID-19 death rate also ranks 10th among the 50 states, with 278 deaths per 100,000 people.

Florida’s recent rise and decline of cases fit a pattern that health experts have seen with other variants, where cases peak and decline over a two-month cycle.

“There’s this weird two-month thing that goes on. We all picked it up,” Michael Sweat, a professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and a leader of its COVID-19 tracking team, said in a university blog post. “I mean, it’s like every time when you get a wave, it goes up, peaks and declines in about two months.”

Florida’s population is skewed toward the elderly. In age adjusted Covid deaths per capita, Florida is ranked #23

More like masks and vaccination.

God, you're a fucking moron.

Fla prioritized the elderly when the vax became available. Or didn't you know that because you can't read the news on your news feed?

And you're just name calling.

Several experts in the field also said residents should wear masks. If Florida has a high population of the elderly why not also have people wear masks to protect the elderly.

They DID wear masks in the beginning, moron. They can STILL wear masks if they choose to.

It really is just like you're stupid or something.

You must be really upset to be name calling.
So if someone works in a nursing home now there's nothing that would make them wear a mask to protect the elderly, right?

You mean like Brandon, who, immediately after being briefed on omicron, defiantly walked into a store yesterday where masks are mandated, with no mask? 😂😂😂😂😂

Briefed by whom? The guy you said we can't trust and caused millions of deaths?

Biden is 79 and now that he’s been briefed on omicron, he now goes shopping in public without wearing a mask, even in stores where they are required. 😂

WAIT! STOP the presses!!!!!

Are you trying to say that people would only take proper precautions if they're MANDATED to do that?
