Over the course of our swinging adventures not every encounter has resulted in fantastic, steamy, orgasmic sex.

More than a few encounters have left us laughing all about it, either at the time or looking back on it.

Would there be an appreciative audience on LIT. if we wrote about some of those events ? Obviously there would be some, but not much, sex in the stories, but mainly focused on the humorous aspects.

If so, what category would I put the story(s) in ?

Something else you could do is work them into another story. Have two couples recount a couple of their misadventures, and even play it up that they're hesitant about trying again, then have them go at it and be the smoking hot time they wanted the prior ones to be.

The reader could get some laughs out of the stories, then get what they need from the ensuing encounter.

I'm trying to find the best category fit for my swinger series, too. I'm using Erotic Couplings, but Group Sex might get a good audience. Just don't put it in Loving Wives, because they don't appreciate sharing stories.

Swinging is made for the Group category, and it's a decent sized readership who in my experience is pretty laid back, not a lot of trolling and because the husband and wife are enjoying others the LW incels usually have nothing to say because the husband is getting some too and there's no way to say anyone is cheating

I've always done well there.

I just published my "Lifestyle Ch 07: Threesomes" story of swingers in Erotic Couplings, and I got an anon comment:
"What sort of self-hating asshole wants this sort of disrespect and a whore for a wife?"

And it's rated only 2.75, with no indication of whether it's quality of writing, length, or content.

I thought it was in interesting twist on swinging, where the wife used threesomes as payback to teach her husband a lesson.

If the story has exhibitionist elements, a swinging story can go into Exhibitionist & Voyeur as well. I've found that category to have fairly open-minded readers, and in terms of numbers of readers it's a middle-of-the-pack category, on average somewhat better than Erotic Couplings.

Funny because on my last group story I had someone comment that he was upset it was a FFM threesome and why couldn't the wife get some extra dick? That man right there is a damn unicorn among readers

@OP. Humor and satire exists. One of the least read by far categories, but hey, the story stays on the “new” list for weeks!

Nothing wrong with that though. There are readers there, even if overall it’s an under appreciated category.

You at your option could make each tale be one of redemption. Make the opening scene the disastrous encounter with pictures from five years and fifty pounds ago all around, then followed by a regular “successful” event for f you wanted to segue into a traditional sex story.

I have humor stories. I have one in that category and one I should have put there. My favorites even if nobody ever read them. Go forth and write!
