I got involved reading lot of RecHikers stories recently, sadly author appears to have passed away few months back. I am wondering if anybody has picked up his stories and continued after his passage or may be rewrite them in a different direction perhaps. Any thoughts ?

My thoughts are that no one should pick up on extending or rewriting stories of this author without the expressed consent of the author's estate management.

I wouldn't take on another writers work, without having worked with the writer and have his or his families permission to do so.

RecHiker was a sweet and extremely fun guy. I had many wonderful conversations with him.

He was extremely proud (and rightfully so) of his work. There is no way he would have been comfortable with someone else controlling his stories. No way at all. Bad, bad idea.

Enjoy what he gave us and his memory. You want more? Read through his favorites - he had tons both of authors and stories.

At the end, he was very passionate about honoring and supporting veterans. That is how he wanted to be remembered.

I'm 100% in agreement with the position that the wishes of former and late authors should be respected and their works not used without their permission, AND that permission should not be presumed.

But it IS sad to see stories disappear -- stories that have touched or influenced or delighted readers who can no longer read them.

I never read this author's stories. What kinds of stories did he write?

RecHiker's stories are still up. Mostly I/T: https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=879344&page=submissions

Personally, RH was a nudist - he often hiked in the nude. He LOVED real life exhibitionism.

He wrote incest and exhibition stories.

He LOVED life and he loved having fun.

I just noticed, RH had you on his favorite authors list as well as a chapter of your "My Mom Is a Hot Mom" story in his favorite story list.
