in an attempt to get an election-audit, trump fanboy sherriff claims 'proof' of widespread voter fraud in a news conference... turns up one care facility resident voted when they've been ruled not mentally competent, with no charges brought against them. he also wants the votes of 7 other residents of the same facility despite them NOT being ruled incompetent to vote! I guess they voted democrat when their kids wanted them to vote republican... but, yanno, after one complaint a year ago, his "extensive investigation did not result in any criminal charges." The wisconsin ag has let it be known he's available to investigate any 'credible' claims but pointed out the fact that no charges had come from these intensive investigations, lol.

the sherriff held a news conference saying one resident of the Ridgewood Care Facility in Mount Pleasant likely voted illegally in the November 2020 election against a court order declaring the resident incompetent to vote.

Schmaling's office alleged that seven additional residents of the nursing home voted despite "cognitive decline" — but the newspaper noted this wouldn't be illegal unless there were court orders finding them incompetent.

"The Racine County Sheriff's Department has been wasting taxpayer money in an attempt to rehash discredited claims about the 2020 election results. There weren't any charges filed or even any suggested. The press conference didn't shed light on any election fraud, but did reveal the Racine County Sheriff's department may have broken the law during their own farce of an investigation," Remiker said.
