Prescription for a revolt.

History has shown that if you want to start a revolt there are three basic trigger points. You mess with any one of them and you, a politician, stand a chance of starting a revolt. Mess with all three and it's virtually guaranteed. The big three are security, food/shelter, family. Let's look at all three.

Security; This actually has two levels. "Defund the Police" is at the top of this category. The soaring crime statistics are a direct result of this misguided notion. Inflation plays a role here as well, secondary but a role none the less. When your money starts becoming worthless people get nervous, then mad.

Food/shelter: Obviously inflation is the top of the list here. Of no less importance is the wave of foreclosures and evictions that are coming soon. Actually the foreclosures/evictions have already started but the current trickle is going to become a flood.

Family; The various mandates and what's going on in the schools top this list. The push back on the mandates has already started. Look at what's going on with the police and firefighters (ties into security). Then there's the Southwest Airline fiasco. It really doesn't take all that many people telling the various governments to "fuck off" to start seriously mucking things up. The whole school system bullshit is another critical driver. People don't like other people fucking with their children. If the various governments mandate that the children now be vaccinated you're going to see some serious shit come down.

The political "progressives" seem to think that merely giving more money away is going to solve these issues. Seriously folks, you just can't print a ton of money without even further debasing the currency, drive inflation through the roof, and expect things to be 'all better now.' The only people that are gong to be happy about that are the currency traders, think George Soros here. Given that the US dollar is the worlds base currency we would not only be fucking over ourselves, the entire world will be dragged down with us.

This is the 'perfect storm' in the brewing and there's no near term end in sight. It's expected that the republicans will take the congress in 2022, but they won't be able to do much of anything. They won't have veto proof majorities and no one should expect the current administration to do anything but veto whatever the republicans come up with.

So buckle up, it's going to be a rough ride.

I didn't even bother mentioning MMT. I'll just fall back on what I've said in the past. When a government starts applying a 'theory' to the monetary supply you'd best understand that it's an experiment and you're the lab rats.
