looks like the guy got lost, pulled into a driveway (probably to check his location as he was just 7 minutes away from his girlfriend's house) and the homeowner grabbed his gun, ran out and started shooting as the car was being driven quickly away.
homeowner told cops he'd shot someone who was pulling a gun on him, but no gun was found in the victim's car. he was not arrested. finally, he turned himself in almost two weeks after the killing. he's been charged with first degree murder, but things only began happening after public outcry. why wasn't he arrested as soon as they ascertained there was no gun and so he was either lying or mistaken but, either way, he'd killed this young guy.

“He started racing away and I ran after him,” Turner reportedly said. “He pointed a gun at me and I shot.”
However, investigators said that after a search of the vehicle they were unable to locate any firearm.
