I agree, Abbot is trying to cope using NG troops and other law enforcement assets organic and out of state but it's not enough. Biden needs to act now and if he does the only force large enough to contain the flow is mobilizing active duty assets not just along the border but air assets to ship them back. Does anyone care about the tens of thousands of people dying from drug overdose or out of control child sex trafficking?

I would be just fine with a basic security check to make sure you're not a known threat and fill out the paperwork for your TaxID# and all your necessary legal paperwork being all there was to immigration.

Hell, I'd even be ok with paying for a basic medical check up and vaccinations just to make sure people coming in aren't bringing anything we REALLY don't want in... and welcome to America.

1) All social and welfare, and social regulations in general.... go back to the states. The fed must be strictly restrained to interstate and international affairs.

2) Anyone violating and trying to sneak in? Is dealt with harshly. Come in the open front door peacefully, or be treated like an existential threat for being a shady violator.
