That’s what I’m not fond of in my car: the fact that there’s a console between the front seats… although I guess it’s better than having a big empty space between like a mini van or a bigger, thicker console that can’t be scooted over or easily reached over.

Some insights into yourself? I don’t know how much is not enough breastfeeding vs. formula… these days we just recommend doing what works for the mum. No shame in formula if milk supply is low.

It is one of the reasons why I’ve never moved from the rainy PNW once I was in it.

I love standing in it and hearing it splash on my body.

All little ones love jumping in muddy puddles with their boots on.

The darkness crawls over me
Laying here, limp bodied
Knife in hand
A line of deep red in my pooling vision

The bottom hard and reaching for me
Came up quickly
Bruises from past self-beatings
In a varied state of colour

The purples and yellows
Melding over the skin
Of where I wish you had kissed
But likely never will again

Always thought it would be different

That it wouldn’t feel so much
Like a rush
To be here
That I really am strong
That I could do this thing alone.

And, in the end,
It’s always alone.

Alone with the demons
That want out of the cage
