Images within LT Biography Page

Hi... I have seen a number of member biography {profile} pages, in the main story site, not this forum, that have an image embedded within the biography, not the users avatar, but another image that appears below the "{user name} Biography: Last Modified:" line... and above the "Some words from {user name}" line..." can anyone assist on how to do this? I can't find any tools in my control panel or within the help/faq pages... suggestion and/or links appreciated...

For images you need 100 posts before the options appear in your User CP.

The ablitity to change the line under your name in the forum comes some time after your 1000th (I think) post.

As for adding info to your biography in the forums, that option is turned off and has been for the past year or so.

@Zeb_Carter... many thanks for the info... thats strange as I have seen this occur where the member has not posted any stories, poems or artwork... still its a lot further that I got, so again thanks...

Look at their join date. That will tell you how old the ID is and some users just have alternate ID's coming out their ass.

There are no post count requirements for the Story side 'biography' like there are for the Forum 'profile'.

I have one over there, different from the one over here, but I don't see a way now to change it or delete it. The ability to edit Profiles here was disabled 3 or 4 years go, so if you see one over there on a Biography page, it was probably placed before that. I'm guessing you won't find one on a Biography for a member that registered after that, whenever it was.

I can remember having a lot more editing tools available when I was on this site under a different incarnation years ago... so you are probably right, many of those tools have been removed... not to worry... they have also changed the grammar criteria for posting stories, wanting dialogue in script form each one on a separate line, which changes the context and flow of the story, so I won't be posting my writings here... again thanks for the input...

They had to have changed the rules in the last five years. When I joined in 2015 I added a picture to my bio. I recently came back to the site and am now in the position of not having the permissions required to change my own Bio picture. Going to have to post more.

The BB side Profile info page has been disabled for years and years.

And the ability to change what is under your Name on the left disappeared when the shut off the ability to edit you profile..

Naww, you can still change your Avatar here on the boards.

I think the OP is talking about the story side though and I'm not sure you can still change your picture there now either.

On the story side when looking at your Control Panel ... click on Options ....

You should go to a Profile Page with your last login and sign-up dates and some other stuff. Just to the left of your name is a picture. Hover over it and an arrow should appear. Clicking that will tyke you to your files on your PC to select an image. One done, it will look like it's accepted, but I see a message that it's awaiting Moderation, so I don't know if it will work or not.

Here on the forum side, the Avatar and Profile picture are two different things and both work. The Avatar shows to the left of each post, while the Profile picture only shows on your Forum Profile page.

On the story side you have two pictures. Picture on the top left, next to my name can be changed from the control panel under the options menu. From the options menu you hover over the picture and there will be an option to select a new picture from your hard drive. It will appear after moderation.

It’s the picture that’s front and center of the page, right under the bio that’s the problem. I no longer have access to change that photo. If others here are correct, I need 100+ posts on the site to change it?
