I tried the gluten free thinking maybe less bloat?

Egg and avocado is a favourite here too.

I'm making black bean soup and popping the leftover tortillas from earlier in the week in the oven to crisp up to go with the soup.

I'm making black bean soup and popping the leftover tortillas from earlier in the week in the oven to crisp up to go with the soup.

Here it is in the high 80s to low 90s and rainy for like the 6th day in a row, but only enough to keep the humidity hovering around 88%. The outside cats are miserable and soggy, I have bushes that are growing black mold due to lack of sun, and the damned grass won't stop growing even though it's too wet to mow.

On the other hand, I have multitudes of orchids swelling and blooming due to the increased humidity and the fiddle leaf fig is towering over the shed and evidently no one told it it's supposed to top out at 20 feet. The Cypress vines have broken free of the metal arched trellis and are rampantly attempting to cover the fence in short-lived vines and tiny white flowers.

Next year we'll probably have a drought and I'll still be whining.

It’s easily made with a boxed roux and is often made with milk or soy milk. In this case I had oat milk in stock and it worked well and didn’t make a difference in taste that I could tell. It’s served around rice.

One just doesn't go out in the daytime unless its necessary. I always feel sorry for the peeps that have outside jobs, but its my understanding that if you do it all the time, its no big deal.

Some time in the next month or so, the winds will shift so its from the west or northwest and we lose the tropical humidity until around mid March.

I can't stand 60% humidity. It's a shame that you have to remain cooped up in doors. It's quite warm here for the time of year but that is likely to change next week, when it will get wetter.
