The democrats, by their official platform are definitively leftist.
So I'm curious what you define as "left" as you sit there calling ethno-socialism right wing.
Can you even define left wint?? Or is this just more "peace is war, freedom is slavery" lies from the left??

That's a nice opinion.
But they're both definitively left wing, and not all that different.
The biggest difference is the DSA is open and honest about how they want to achieve all that equity they think is so wonderful. (D)emocrats just make the promises for the socialist utopia...and don't really say how they plan on making it happen without all the anti-American shit that comes with it.
But, they never do. They never have. The Great Society as LBJ described it was no socialist utopia. FDR's Economic Bill of Rights was no socialist utopia. Social-democratic at the very most, which is not the same thing.
"Anti-American shit" applies neither to FDR's program nor LBJ's. Nor to Bernie Sanders'. Nor even to the DSA's. There is nothing anti-American about social democracy.

If you want to know what "the left" actually is, scroll down this page. The National Progressive Party, the People's Party, the Working Families Party are all the left, in a non-socialist, social-democratic sense; still further left are all the various socialist and communist parties, many of which appear to exist only as an online presence. America would be better off if they were all to merge -- but even then there would be no big party of the left, at most it would be something ranking in size and importance with the Libertarians and the Greens.

And if you go to a monthly meeting of your county Dem organization, I doubt you'll find anybody who even knows much about Marxism, and certainly nobody who cares.

Those in the Working Families Party, National Progressive Party, People's Party are not Marxists. Not even Bernie is a Marxist, and certainly nobody in the Democratic Party mainstream. To find Marxists, you have to look at the organizations that actually have "socialist" or "communist" in their names -- and even in those, you'll find a lot of non-Marxists and even anti-Marxists. The socialist movement existed before Marx joined it, and continues to exist now that his theories, insofar as they purport to provide a predictive science of human events, are largely discredited.
