Posts Gone Mssing After Maintenance?

It seems that since today's "maintenance work" is over quite a few forum posts from yesterday have gone missing, or is that only the case on the German forum board?
 
Can confirm, posts from me from yesterday have disappeared.

And is it just me or does anyone else get my opening post's text displayed as: "Such a hot thread, he's a lucky bf?" I didn't write that!
 
Futhermore I'm unable to edit my own posts in this thread. Anyone else got the same problem?

Post content is all messed up, but seems to be improving.


The Edit Post function has been gone from this forum section for years.

After posting, the line "Such a hot thread, he's a lucky bf" appeared automatically!
 
Looks like a MySQL database crash and perhaps recovered from a backup from a while ago. Definitely stuff missing, both public and private posts.

I kind of doubt the posts will return. If they had them it wouldn’t make sense to bring the site back up before the full restore was complete. My guess is that they were lost. Would be nice if there was an announcement though.
 
Missing Messages

Seems I am missing about a week of PMs since the overnight maintenance. I have received several messages since Monday but that is the last one in my InBox. Sent Messages too are missing.

This is a recently provided forum section (just a couple of years ago), and it never had an edit capability.

Same thing happened to me. Had a private chat with someone yesterday that's now completely gone.
 
Wow, weird stuff happening. I've also seen SRP forum posts disappear as well as PMs. I hope someone lets us know what's going on.
