Microbiome. Probiotics. Happy gut. Blah blah.

It still tastes like.... yogurt. Sigh.

It is a bit better with my strawberry jam - but.... yeah.

Which brand do you get?

My main go to was (is) Chobani. Used to get it often, first as a quick spot breakfast when I didn't have time to make things before bopping out to work, then during off days I would plop a few cups into the blender along with fruit to make yogurt smoothies. That was fun to do. :D

now i'm into making breakfast/brunch sandwiches so haven't picked up any yogurts for a while, but I'm definitely not adverse to eating it.

i like it, i put cereal in my yogurt. sometimes choc chips and whipped cream too.

The soupy liquid that forms on the top over night after opening weirds me out.

I'm with you..Chobani. Plain yogurt is nasty though. I seem to be gravitating to vanilla lately. As a treat type option they also have what is called Chobani Flips. Part is yogurt and part is a mix in. You can get a lot of combinations. My favorite is almond coco loco.

Try making your own fresh! Tastes nothing like store bougt full of sugar and preservatives. I make a big batch every week and strain it for thicker like Greek yogurt. A little honey and fresh fruit tastes great!

It's such a useful product - put it in your tum and slap it on your itchy twat. Is there a vegan version?

Plain with crushed Garlic, grated and drained Cucumber, and minced Dill.

Alternatively, Jam or Honey and Fruit. Granola as a mix-in is nice but I don't have that on hand so it's always when prepackaged with some.

I'll use some plain on a backed potato in lieu of sour cream, but better the Tzatziki above.

i just buy the supermarket brand. only plain, i mix trail mix in it. the flavored ones always give me indigestion because of all the sugar.

2 cups grated cucumber (from about 1 medium 10-ounce cucumber, no need to peel or seed the cucumber first, grate on the large holes of your box grater)

1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint and/or dill

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 medium clove garlic, pressed or minced

½ teaspoon fine sea salt

I didn't even think of tzatziki. Wow. I'm slipping in my old age.

:D
