Bashed Bowman on the head with an 8-inch aluminum flashlight
reinforced with a pointed end meant to shatter car glass.
18 strikes occurring in 24 seconds.
Bowman was left with a broken jaw, three broken ribs, a broken wrist,
and a gash to his head that required six staples to close.
The attack on Bowman wasn’t investigated until 536 days after it occurred.
The video from body camera has been released - The state trooper involved,
continued his violence from 2015, on.

But on Wednesday, a recording of the incident emerged and was obtained by
The Washington Post.
The footage, first published Wednesday morning by the Associated Press.
Multiple police officers had piled on top of Bowman, attempting to arrest him.
Brown then repeatedly beat Bowman with a large flashlight, yelling, “Stop resisting!”
