Advice needed please

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on this forum. I'm looking for some advice, I'm trying to help out a friend of mine who is currently locked up by posting a chapter of his writing, but reading the site guidelines it states that it's important that the person posting the story must be the author. Obviously that isn't possible but I do have his permission to post it here. Is that ok? He is happy for me to post his name and a way to contact him more directly. Thanks in advance!

Thank you all for your replies, I did laugh at the rules comment! I have to agree.
Wait until release it is then, I did think that would be the answer but it was worth a double check. To be fair I don't think the story is even complete yet anyway.
