I know what BTB stands for but I have never seen the RAAC designation before. Can someone please enlighten me as to its meaning?

May we please have context. Where are you seeing these? Ads? Messaging? Texts? Strories?

Thanks.

I'm also confused by the context. Was RAAC used as a tag? Who would use this term to refer to their own story?

Neither are in the tags listed for search on the site. I've heard of RAC and BTB but never have heard of RAAC as sex thing. Then again, I'm only 31 years old so maybe I'm missing something of the education in life to know what it is.

RAAC used to be a common description for some LW stories. As RR said, it's Reconciliation at Any Cost. I've also seen it as Reconciliation at All Costs. It describes the case where the woman has her fling and the man wants to save their relationship.

You've not been on Lit long enough. They're common terms in commentary on the Loving Wives category. Sometimes it's better to wait a few comments for the Lit specific knowledge to kick in, before jumping in without knowing the answer :).

I think BTB should be relabeled "BTFT.

The only purpose it serves is for authors who hate women to express their hate to an audience that hates women and whacks off to nasty things happening to women

BTFT....By trash for trash.

HOwever would I learn what the right answer is without jumping in?

Wait for folk to give a range of answers then pick one.

Stick around long enough, you'll spot the context immediately. As noted in other posts, they're not going to be used as tags, they're used by folk running commentaries on the LW category. The acronyms are very possibly unique to Literotica, not found in urban dictionaries.

Not even close to unique on Lit. A search of "erotica raac" shows it on a wide range of erotica/cheating story sites.

THANK YOU. I saw "reconciliation at any cost" and I thought it had something to do with budgets and taxes :) I guess you can see where my head is at.

Actually, I thought RAAC was reconciliation at all costs.

And both are mainly used in Loving Wives stories as tags or in comments.

OP: It would appear that BTB means 'Burn the Bitch'...or at least that's what I've figured out after a little digging.

RAAC is the opposite of BTB (burn the bitch or burn the bastard, yes even men cheat. Who knew? ) stories on LW. The BTB crowd hates them.

BTB - burn the bitch - tie to a stake, stack kindling, douse with gasoline, apply match. Stand around celebrating.

BTB - burn the bastard - well, sometimes men cheat, you have to be a little understanding, downvote story cause you should have known that. Surprisingly supported by a large number of women readers. - Too harsh they say.

RAAC - I'd prefer it to change to RAF. Reconciliation and forgiveness. I like those stories best but the BTB crowd isn't satisfied with less than total destruction. I guess I'm a sucker for love stories.

The RAAC thing is a term, a tag but it's also a genre.

All quite entertaining really! ;)

I learn something new every day. I looked this up using the Search function, and, sure enough, there are stories at this Site where the authors either use "RAAC" as a tag or use the acronym in an introduction to let readers know what they are in for.

Loving Wives is a fascinating category. It's by far the weirdest and most conflicted and most interesting at Literotica.

And here I rather naively thought it was the category to post a story about a married woman getting a little extra!

LW has become a catchall for anything wife-related and a lot of stuff that isn't.

For instance, todd172 has a military series. Nothing to do with cheating wives. Then there are cucks. And....? The list goes on and on.
