With so much breathless hype, it's hard to know what to believe.

I'm on blood thinners, so most conventional anti-inflammatory meds are off the table.

Anybody have any experience with this stuff? Is it legitimate?

What would you be taking it for? I use CBD lotion on my legs and feet for neuropathy. I use a tincture at night.

I rate it.

But the most convincing thing for me was that it worked on the dog. They don't do placebo effect! His broken tooth got an abscess underneath, and we couldn't get him into the vets until mid Monday morning. The cbd took him from constant crying and unable to settle, to just looking very sorry for himself and sleeping restlessly.

Wouldnt mind trying for my knee and hip pain. Not sure what's good to take .

I take a daily CBD supplement that, along with other things, helps nerve and joint pain management.

Is your interest in it primarily for pain management?

This thread has been done before, but here is the Reader's Digest synopsis.

At a loved one's insistence, I tried it for migraines.
Like any good snake oil, it's supposed to be good
for what ails you. It was ineffective, at best...

Topical CBD product are wonderful for arthritis pain that is developing in my hands and wrists.

Well, I did just add another unused wedding dress to the pile. But I blame Covidiots this time.

We could open a shop!

On my second bottle of Solei. At first it might have made me a bit sleepy but did/does nothing for pain.

It does chill out my nervous wreck of a dog though.

Shut it, rocky balbulbous.

just like any other medicine its good for some things and for others not so much...
I don't like it becuz it puts me to sleep regardless of what I'm taking it for--, so I just don't use it.

My opinion

I believe that CBD can be useful for several ailments or treatments.
However, Most of the stuff I see for sale that is legal in most states states that it was derived from HEMP, which is the rope, or non-syco-active stuff.
I don't feel that you can get a useful CBD from that because there is not the right ingredients to get useful medicine from rope!

I personally believe that Sativa or Indica would probably create very good CBD products. Would love to see studies on this. Awaiting the non-scedule one laws and scientific studies to start on all facets of Marijuna use.

This is from a guy who had his pain medicine denied by the insurance and got relief from a couple of old gummy worms today. Feel good, didn't get high, but have very little pain. There's much promise from this stuff!

AIUI, there is no scientific proof -- yet -- that CBD is good for anything. People are inclined to believe it is because cannabis.
