99.5 % covid deaths are the unvaccinated...6,000 in June!

Of course you would you fucking racist. You know that people of color are disproportionately unvaccinated, and disproportionately represent cases and deaths.

I'm sorry, I just have to give the horse laugh to you and other board Trumpettes when/if they show any (false) concern for people of color.

Yet you want to deny treatment. You’re a racist and a hypocrite as well.

Nobody has an excuse...vaccines are readily available

Worried About Breakthrough COVID Cases? Here's What To Know

"Those mild breakthroughs, according to a New England Journal study three weeks ago, are accompanied by lower viral loads and less — much less — symptoms," added Dr. Monica Gandhi, infectious disease physician at the University of California, San Francisco. In particular, the study "showed that if you get a mild breakthrough with any variant, you have a 40% lower viral load in your nose after vaccination than you do if you had a natural infection," she said.

It is simple...this IS NOT a political issue as much as you want to make it. Let me be clear...I don't give a fuck what color or political party an unvaccinated person is. If you are unvaccinated....you are 100% retarded and as far as I am concerned...a fucking traitor. Republican...Democrat...immaterial...fucking traitor...fucking retarded. No one that is unvaccinated should be eligible for Federal money and they should be forced to pay back any economic stimulus they received.

Now...tell me again how a Democrat only bitches about unvaccinated Republicans.

You say it’s not political, but this what you posted yesterday:

“ The best response is for the Trumpers to get over themselves, get vaccinated…

“ It's the Donald Trump killer crazies. When they realize they are killing themselves more than "lbruls," just maybe they will gather enough brain power to stop the stupid suicide.

Sorry, you don’t get a hall pass you fucking hypocrite.

Here is an interesting report via Florida (PDF)

Curiously absent from the report - hospitalization rate.

Not going to dig into it much, as I haven't had time, but this graph seems interesting - Vaccinated vs cases by Age Group

And County case count with vaccination rate breakdown by cumm/week:

BS. Very small in the total scope of covid.

In the most likely scenario, Lessler says, the U.S. reaches only 70% vaccination among eligible Americans, and the delta variant is 60% more transmissible.

In that scenario, at the peak in mid-October, there would be around 60,000 cases and around 850 deaths each day, Lessler says.

That would double our current daily rate. I guess if you don't consider that increase as a spike, you'd be correct. But your comment is about the "total scope", which not the same perspective.

Delta is a recent parameter, as are vaccinated people. That makes comparisons between last year and this year a lot more suspicious to accept.

I don’t put much credence in Covid models that project 3 months out, but the most likely scenario of a peak at around 850 deaths per day seems like a plausible guess.

That would put the US at about the same rate as April of this year. Worse than today, and even worse than the 2017-18 flu season (which reached 508 deaths per day), but much better than January of this year when US was averaging about 3,300 deaths per day.

The UK and Israel experience to date is teaching us that vaccines help, but not as much as many experts expected. It’s never going to be eradicated, but in all likelihood will continue to become more manageable and less lethal as time goes on. Most of us will be infected with Covid 19 more than once in the years ahead.

The one thing I can say we agree on is that we have the most susceptible vaccinated. That makes the number increases less comparable to last year.

We also have learned how to treat those in the hospital.

“Oh, yeah. Oooh, ahhh, that’s how it always starts. Then later there’s running and screaming.”

good news

america has to cater to everyone, not just those smart and caring enough to have got their shots as soon as they could

now self-preservation's starting to kick in although there will always be the exceptions like the mother whose 12-year-old daughter has been sick for weeks with covid but still refuses to get a shot as she 'doesn't trust the government' (what about the rest of the world populations receiving the vaccine? duh!), or the guy who's been sick, very sick, in hospital with covid and still won't consider getting the vaccine when he's recovered enough because of the present gov't's 'agenda'. HE doesn't deserve a bed over others if they need it and have been vaccinated

i HATE the fact children are being held virtual hostages for the virus to incubate in, all because of the selfish and the ignorant

"Steep rise" has to be put into perspective. The number of deaths could triple from where they were a few weeks ago — which sounds terrible — but that would still amount to fewer than 1000/day, which is way below what they were for much of the pre-vaccine period.

This could still change, but I don't believe the British have had a single day yet during their current Delta surge with more than 100 deaths (compared with the weeks at the end of 2020 where they had over 1000 deaths every day), and it looks like cases there may be heading down again.

I think people should be alert to new developments, but if defeatism about Delta causes people to go, "What's the point?" about getting the vaccine, that would be a big mistake.

The perspective is that comparing it to numbers from last year is irrelevant. I'm not concerned about the current numbers of deaths. Numbers are doubling weekly and hospitalizations as well.

It's just a different scale all together because the people getting hit are.younger and those who are vaxxed skew what the numbers mean.
