Or Mississippi where admissions are only down 75%? Or Missouri where they’re only down 56%? Yes, there is a recent uptick among elderly people but that uptick is nowhere near approaching January levels.

Are you suggesting that vaccinated people are not dying from Covid? I hope not, because that is incorrect. Vaccinated people can die and are dying. Most of them are elderly, obese, or otherwise immunologically compromised. Most young, healthy people are at very little risk of severe illness from Covid, and even less risk if they get vaccinated.

The problem is that you extrapolate incorrect conclusions from the data. Missouri's healthcare system is completely being stressed and is about to be overtaxed. The delta infection rate has tripled in three weeks. And there are other states which are seeing the same rate increase that will also soon hit limits.
