In the 3 seasons that the series had been on Tv back in the 60's, there was never any love making(or sex)between the 2 main couples-John & Maureen Robinson; or Major Don West & Judy Robinson(just a little bit)-in season 1----If season 4 would have happened-Would the space ship 'Jupiter 2 have been able to leave the'Junk Planet', finally head for 'Alpha Centauri' or even 'Earth'--Would Major West & Judy Robinson finally have made love

What about the "new" series that was on for two seasons before being cancelled?

Seams this one was even less of a hit than the first.

Even though Mimi Rogers played Mrs. Robinson.

I vaguely remember the MAD Magazine take (wasn't it called Loused-Up In Space?) but never saw the show on TV, and I'll bet much of LIT's readership is similarly unexposed. Thus I am free to suggest robo-sex, ET sex, tentacle sex, microbial group-sex, etc. And with Robinsons at hand, let's throw in Mrs Robinson from The Graduate. Does she seduce a young AI? Only one?

A psycho version could be Lost In Innerspace, like a mystical Fantastic Voyage with teeny-tiny hypersexual folks, all emitting prurient brainwaves.

To Zeb Carter(whomever you may be)--My idea thought(though I haven't written a story on it yet)-would have been based on the 1960's tv version-in which after 3 seasons was ended

I'm old enough to have watched the original series back in the sixties, although I was never a big fan. Always more of a Star Trek fan. My main reaction to Lost In Space was utter disgust at Dr. Smith and his craven nefarious scheming. If I were to turn it into a Lit story, I would make it about the Robinsons exacting revenge on his scheming ass through a variety of ever escalating sexual degradations, most likely involving the robot.

season 3 was just filmed.

though we might be talking different remakes, as the one I am referring to has Molly Parker as Mrs Robinson.

Yes, that's right, Mimi was in the 1998 movie with Matt Le Blanc and William Hurt.

So, there will be season 3, almost 2 years after the second? Okay. Good to know.

Covid delay in filming I think.

Back in those days, when I was watching the original from the 60s, I had certain ideas about life that had to do with pairing up man and woman. And I always kind of wondered about poor Will and Penny. If they never got back to other people... who would those two have had?

according to Lit, almost everybody including the robot.

The first series was low budget and campy which made it fun and earned it a nice little cult following.

the Netflix series was just flat and all over the place and inconsistent, most of the actors were like blocks of wood.

I did enjoy seeing Parker Posey as DR Smith....I always thought she was hot in a trashy way in her younger days.

Oh no, no, no .... The good Doctor would have had his way with Judy and Mom, then pimp them out to the aliens.

"When I was first awaken from cold sleep and saw we had a stowaway, I went to the arms locker and pulled out my pistol and shot Dr. Smith in the head. I then dumped the body out the airlock". Major West said to the rest of the crew who now had to fight for their live unhindered by that asshole Dr. Smith.

;) Problem solved.

To Zeb Carter & jaFO(whomever you are)--After I've seen first run & then rerun after rerun of the 60's original version of the show--I've always wandered what a written story version(including erotic stories) would have been like about the 'space family robinsons-(Dr Smith & the 'major) finally getting back in space & returning to Earth

Penny Robinson (Angela Cartwright) - The middle child. An imaginative 11-year-old ...

So, even by Season 4, she would only be 15-16 and the Lit Rule is you can't 'age up'. I don't know what her age is/was in any of the follow ups since I don't believe in follow ups.

in the Netflix version, she was clearly more than 11- maybe 15 in season one?

Also the movie, she was a lot older than 11, Will, the youngest, was at least 15 in the movie. So that would place Penny at 17-18, while Judy had to be at least 25.

In the Netflix series they may have made them all a little younger than in the movie yet still older than in the original series.
