It seems to have become a RW snarl-word, but I'm not clear on why. A globalized economy is the neoliberal dream.

It's undermining of the nation.

And no, it's not, not matter how many times you tell that lie.

A globalized FREE economy is.

The answer should be nothing and...

The right has been creating all sorts of misinformation and propaganda that has dopey folks, like Mr. Banana head🍌🍌🍌🍌 thinking it's destroying something.

It ain't!

Free from most economic regulations. :)

"It's a free for all...". Gotta love Ol pedofile Ted. Do you suck his balls 🐵? You might get cat scratch fever.

He lives near you.

No economic regulation would be good for you on your limited pension....maybe you could expand your diet from 🍌🍌🍌🍌 to other foods.

No.

Who said anything about no economic regulation??

Reduced economic regulations would be good for everyone who doesn't need the nanny state to wipe their butt for them.

Pecksniff. Your open ended "what if, what about" type threads are becoming more than a trifle tedious.

1. How does it undermine the nation?

A nation is a legal entity, if you can't see how going outside the legal framework for governance undermines that then you're to stupid for this conversation.

2. Why would that be a bad thing?

Well, I suppose if you're an anti-American piece of shit it wouldn't be.

Explains why (D)eez are all about it and trying to collapse the country as fast as they can.

We're not talking about anything illegal here, we're talking about governments making decisions that tend in a globalist direction.

Depends on what the product. National security should not be dependent on unwell regions. Other than that...if some country can build tvs or washing machines cheaper and better tham Americans...cool

Unless they allow child labor and slave wages, not cool.

I am not a big fan of globalization when it means more wage exploitation and taking jobs away from Americans because other countries are under authoritarian rule and not a democracy and exist for the sole purpose of having an aristocracy. It also means, as we have seen during the pandemic, when we do not create our own goods we have a national security issue in this case.

I am a fan when globalization means that American ideas and ideals are being exported and there is an expectation that government are formed by the consent of the governed for their betterment.

Net-net I am not a fan of globalization.

But you are.

At it's essential core globalization is the destruction of nationalism.

Local affairs need to be kept local, there isn't any reason for Europeans or Chinese or Russians to decide what my children are taught in school or how I'm allowed to live my life.

Example.....A, lits very own squad of nosy do-gooder and totalitarian control freaks like BND.

Unless they allow child labor and slave wages, not cool.

This part is a favorite....

^^ Fucking hates any sort of individual or civil liberties of any kind....can't fucking stand the idea of the totalitarian god state run by radical leftist not being forced upon every living creature of the planet.

It's a goal of international communism as well, with China chairing the one world government.

simple

its really quite simple.......America lives at a standard far above the vast majority of the world. while everyone clamours for a one world govt, one currency etc.....it escapes people that in order for things to equalize world wide, everyone else's standard of living must come up drastically, and America's standard of living must go down drastically.....

essentially, it is the ultimate in socialsm/communism.....lets all have the same regardless of what effort anyone put into it......

so....most people, who have good sense, and who love their lifestyle, can see how it can never end well for the good ole U S of A

furthermore, while it is amazing how people who contribute little to nothing are so free with giving everything away (using everyone else's money)......America is now and always has been able and willing to help the rest of the world in many many ways BECAUSE of the work ethic and standard of living that so many of us aspire to and work hard to maintain......in the event of more socialistic laws and government practices......the work ethic will continue to be diluted until the contributors are outnumbered by the takers to the point that the entire country implodes (which we are on the brink of at this moment).....point being.....it will be really hard to try to help feed the rest of the world when we can't even feed ourselves!

No, this country is not on the brink of imploding, at least not in that way.

When 49% of our own country doesn't believe in the Constitution...why should we expect the World to fall in line?

I just wanted to make him seize up and fall off his chair. I don't think they put out the sheeple talking points on that yet so he won't know what to type or think.
