The race for rich folk tourism has begun with this first flight. What are you opinions on this?

Should rich folk be able to take a carnival joy ride to space because they can afford it? What about the incredible amount of pollution and green house gases this produces in the upper most atmosphere? Is this acceptable?

Is this the beginning of an Elysium type future on our planet? I'm not asking this in jest!

Probably. We have long since passed the point where whatever progress happens, the rich get the first benefit of it. When human genetic engineering becomes possible, we will have an elite who are not only economically and socially but genetically superior to the rest of us.
