Responding to Feedback

Hey all,

Posted my first story a little while ago, and was contacted by the private feedback email with a message from a visitor to Lit, asking if I do custom stories.

It's awesome someone would ask me that, and is very encouraging! However I am a little unsure on how to proceed, and it's been a few days since I emailed the Literotica Webmaster so wanted to ask here.

The visitor's email address has been provided to me, so is the intention that I respond to them there? It isn't explicitly clear in the email if they wanted that. I've had a look on the site and can't seem to find a function about responding to private feedback so I'm a little lost.

Any help would be appreciated, I don't want an email from Lit about custom erotic stories turning up in someone's email if it's not meant too!

Cheers,

If you're interested in customised writing, respond to the message received - it's now between you and the other person, nothing to do with the site.

If someone provides their email in the Feedback system (it's optional) it means they're okay with an answer.

If you don't want to do customised writing then I'd politely decline. There no obligation on anyone to do it - and it's not easy. I've had several requests, all of which fell in a heap because I had little interest in what they were asking for.

You might want to include with your response some details on how you envision the two of you working together, payment (if any), who gets credit for the piece, etc.

Thank you kindly for the responses and information, it is a huge help. I appreciate the advice also, Ill have to have a proper think on it.

"A proper think on it" sounds wise

I do think that a proper think on it is the key to every decision. Even when it comes to deciding how to phrase a concept a proper think on it results in better quality.
