Brainstorming Scene Ideas

I always have a ton of ideas but sometimes they just don't make it into my story though I like to keep them on the back burner for later use in other scenes. I thought I would start this thread just to share ideas for scenes and brainstorm ideas or concepts to use in stories just to get the blood flowing to the old brain.

Lets start with something simple yet titillating. Down blouse ideas.

Blowing Out Birthday Candles
Emptying / Loading Dishwasher
Leaning In Car Window
Leaning Over Desk Writing
Packing Suitcase
Scrubbing Floor
Seated at Table
Vacuuming
Washing Car
Whipping Down Table

I think it's helpful, once you get an idea like this, to focus not so much on the "trigger" as the story arc and culmination. Then you can craft the rest of the story to get artfully where you want to go. A story that's well started, but not well finished, is not a good story.

OK, so the idea of down blouse. It's a very sexy idea. Very familiar to men throughout history. But the key question is, what's the story? A momentary glimpse down a blouse is not a story.

It becomes a story when you have two people in a relationship. The man sneaks glimpses down the woman's blouse, in some way. It keeps happening. It becomes clear, eventually, that it's not accidental, that she knows it's happening, and she's helping make it happen. Now we have an erotic story.

You have a man who works at home, during the pandemic. And he has a housekeeper, and he begins to notice that she's bent over a lot cleaning things with her blouse pulled away. He gets a little bolder and asks her to do things that require bending over and showing more. She seems to respond in an almost exaggerated way, but it's subtle at first. One day she shows up with no bra.

Things progress, and eventually they have hot sex.

Then one day when she shows up she takes all her clothes off before starting her housekeeping work and he asks what she's doing, and she bends over and says, "This time, I thought I'd make sure nothing gets in the way of the view."

Whatever initial concept you have, make sure you can turn it into a complete story. Once you have the story in mind the rest will begin to fall in place.

One additional idea is if a guy is working in a public place and on a ladder, get some good down blouse shots there

Also and this is a real life classic I've worked into a story a couple times

Shooting pool.

Maid cleaning (just used this in an e-book)

Putting a drink on a table

I think it's good to have something to prompt you for story ideas. As I was writing the last story I've published, a friend of mine sent me a video of Abigail Ratchford washing a car. That inspired me to add what I thought was a rather hot car wash scene to my story. So if someone is writing a story and looks over this list, hopefully it'll inspire them to add something simple yet titillating to it.

I people watch, one of my most successful stories here had its birth in the rather sad situation of a young panhandler that used to stand on the corner near where I work. I always have him a couple bucks and a couple times a sandwich.

One day I saw a car pull over with an older, but very attractive professional looking woman in it, and she passed him a coffer and talked to him for a couple minutes.

The launched "Home is where the heart is" a mature romance.

another obvious one

The gym...great rear views too.

Damn I'm glad they finally reopened around here. Now I can get back to my 5am stalking sessions...I mean work outs

Great "Nude Day" idea.

Why am I hearing Yakety Sax playing?

To date one of the few romance stories I can stand. Very well done, LC.

Thanks, trust me, I had a hard time dealing with the fact I wrote an actual romance. But I felt I saved face by making the opening two chapters really depressing.

Relevant to current times - when someone forgets their camera is at the height of the top of their laptop screen and takes the laptop to sit on a standard table rather than desk. Add leaning over to be heard...

Used to have meetings at work with a woman joining remotely, and each week all we could see was her exceptional cleavage. No-one could think of how to tell her (and she really did have the most amazing cleavage!)

You can have side-private-conversations during zoom I think? Let her know, or maybe someone could have told her off screen so to speak.

My wife was cracking up one day because she had a zoom meeting which featured a young woman who was new to the group. I guess one of the guys thought he was sending a Direct message to another guy but it ended up with everyone seeing it.

"Who's the cute little thot?"

I admit my wife had to explain to me thot means that ho over there. But the girl knew and well...it didn't end well. But my wife said it was worth sticking around for some "eating popcorn" time.

I think you mean "wiping" down the table. Tables are not into BDSM. :)

I have a series on another site in which a woman tries to make her various fantasies come true. One is that she imagines being on a subway train late at night and having sex with a Death Wish type of vigilante who walks through. (It's in the 1970s.)

She is pretty good at recreating this with her boyfriend - but it isn't on a moving train; it's in one parked in a yard late at night. Back then security was very lax and it might have been possible to do that. She even buys him a toy revolver he can wave around.

Included one idea in a story I am working on. Having a cooler at a party with drinks where the girls bend over to dig out drinks from underneath the ice.

How the hell did you get a join date of Dec 1969?

This happened last night in real life: I was at my first post-pandemic concert. An outdoor concert in an historic venue. There was a very hot blonde in a simple, low-cut black dress in the row in front of me who kept leaning over to pick up her glass of wine.

Every time she did, I could see her braless, left breast nearly down to the nipple. I thought the guy she was sitting with was a gay friend by their interactions. In my younger days I would have made a move on her.

That's a springboard for a story.

Indeed it is. Something similar - at a cabaret show premier on Thursday, everyone masked. The woman sitting next to me was by herself, with long fingers with short red finger nails scuttering on her phone before the lights went down. She had a contralto laugh, wore tight jeans, and was quite tall. If I'd been by myself I'd have chatted, but I wasn't.

Time travel. That or a computer glitch. It's the only thing I can figure considering I wasn't even born yet and the internet wasn't even a thing yet.
