My current BF likes the hair so I am growing it back. But it's growing slowly and has gotten coarse and prickly. It's beyond the stubble stage, but it's still stabbing me. The conditioner I have works fine when it's longer, but does nothing now. Help! I don't like getting pricked by it and don't want to prick him!

Were you shaving? If so, have a go at getting it waxed (now it's a bit longer than stubble). I wax, and never have any issues with it being coarse at all.

No. I hate shaving. I was using depilatory. I want the hair there. So I don't waant to wax it.

I meant wax it and then let it grow back. That way everything that grows back is new hair, with the naturally fine ending to. I'm not sure how depilatory works, but if it's just doing some form of breaking off existent hair, coarse stubble is inevitable. This image sort of explains that. You need to have NEW hair growing, with the fine end - existent hair that's been shaved/depilatoried off will have a 'square' coarse end growing out.

Honestly if you treat it like a beard, that seems to help. Use some oil and a good smooth brush and it helps. My beard and bush are very coarse, so something I did have to look into.

Depilatory eats away the hair below the surface. There is now stubble as it grows back. My hair has just gotten coarse as I've aged.

I tried wax once. Bad experience. Got burned. Wax stuck to me. No hair removed.

A Brazilian isn't really something you can do yourself.

leave the conditioner on for half an hour per day and it will be as smooth as a pussy.....and then he will prick you:rose:

It's not perfect, but one way is to put a somewhat thick coat of conditioner on any hair you want soft then cover it up with something impermeable for about an hour. Type of conditioner doesn't really seem to make a difference but just don't get anything with a minty scent as that can get irritating. For covering up a neoprene bikini bottom works great, search "womens wetsuit shorts" "womens water ski shorts" and "neoprene shorts". Also just try a swimsuit bottom you have laying around, all the conditioner needs to do is stay moist for an hour give or take.
