Hamas(a terrible organization) exists because of the severe oppression of the ordinary Palestinian folks Isreal has exerted over them.

From the point of view of average citizens in Gaza or The West Bank, Hamas and Israel equate to the same thing...no chance of a future.

I am all for withholding aid from any country that would bomb Innocents and kill babies and children wantonly.

Setting these folks free and allowing them to achieve wealth(not to mention water, electricity, education, healthcare) and a future would put an end to Hamas....it is time for Israel to do this.

However, he is a Jew and for that fact alone is worth listening to on this issue. He represents a view which a surprising number of Israeli Jews agree with.

I would like to see Biden suggest to the Saudis that if they cut back on the cash to Hamas the USA might do the same to Israel. It might give both the combatants cause to reconsider their positions.
