The Democrat reaction to widespread Republican concerns about the fairness and honesty of the 2020 election and more importantly, Republican states making it harder to cheat, was to push H.R. 1.

H.R.1 is a bill that would federalize elections, make it easier to cheat, and generally slant the field in favor of Democrats.

Not a single Republican voted for the bill in the House and not a single one would have voted for it in the Senate. It’s currently deadlocked in the rules committee 9-9. The bill was on track to die in the Senate after Democrats failed to get 60 votes. However, it’s not going to even get that far because Democrat Senator Joe Manchin has decided to kill it, opting to support a different “voting rights” bill instead.

This bill, if passed, would be the most unconstitutional bill in modern history. It would be challenged in court on so many levels starting with unconstitutional challenge to states rights, by that time the house would be back in republican hands.

They know it won't pass. The problem is an electorate that doesn't understand that Article 1 grants the states the power to conduct its own elections. You push through a bill that you don't have enough support to pass. Then you can go back to your far left wing and blame Manchin, Sinema and the Republicans.

"Everyone" isn't allowed to vote, the states decide who is qualified to vote, when, and where. If what you say is true, the Democrats wouldn't have tried to defraud the nation with HR1.
