So, what are the rules regarding advertising your own books for sale on Amazon? I am going to be self publishing, through Amazon, a full length novel that got it start as a short story I wrote last year on this site. I will have to remove it from this site because of Amazons rules, but am I allowed to post links in my profile or elsewhere on this site to the Amazon purchase page? What are the rules and etiquette regarding the sort of thing?

Perfect, thank you so much for your help on this. I will definitely be keeping other stories here, it’s just one in particular that I will have to take down because of exclusivity rules with Amazon.

Also, can someone point me to the procedures on how to remove a story from literotica? I don’t need to do so just yet, but I will need to know what to do when the time comes within the next month.

Just PM Laurel and ask her to take it down. That's how I did it, anyway, when I had a dilemma like yours.

If it is just one or two stories, submit the exact title followed by DELETE, and put please delete in the Notes box.

That FAQ needs to be changed... the proper procedure is as follows.

To remove a single story, submit a new story with the same title with the word DELETE appended to the title.

Also, place a link to the story in the Admin Notes. It makes it easier for Laurel to delete it from... everywhere.

If you are deleting more than one, submit a single story called PLEASE REMOVE.

For both, fill out all the required fields with whatever and place links in the Admin Note field, also explain why you would like them or it removed.

And don't forget to thank Laurel.
