The vaccine now has extensive "real world" research documenting it's side effects, with over 200 million doses distributed in Murica alone, and the number of serious adverse events related to the vaccine is statistically irrelevant.

Compare that to the usual 10,000 or so doses in controlled clinical trials.

Vaccination does NOT prevent ALL infections. It helps reduce the severity for vaccinated people who get it, but a large proportion of the population has to be vaccinated to ensure a reduction in spreads.

In the UK we are getting there but with still some reluctance among BAME groups who are more at risk than the general population. The news reports from India are helping to make BAME people more aware of what could happen, but their take-up is still lower than it should be.

In the EU, and particularly France, confusing messages about the safety of vaccines are helping to produce a large minority who are vaccine refusniks. Although supply (except the Oxford Astra Zeneca), is still low in much of Europe (and they are sitting on millions of unused Oxford doses that they will not use).


Europe is at risk of, if it isn't already, another Covid wave because of EU incomptence.
