Noob Question, Please be gentle

So I have Submitted 4 stories. For the last few days they have said pending. Which I figured might take some time. But my question is that two of them on my dashboard have switched icons from "Pending" to "New". BUT right above it it shows a date of tomorrow. Does that mean it will post tomorrow? or does it mean something different? Not really sure.

Like I said, noob here and still learning how it work. I am sorry for the question, just couldn't find an answer.

Yes, it means they will post tomorrow.
Also, just so you're aware, when something is in pending, if you open the submission it will bump it to the back of the que and the wait will be longer.

Ok. THANK YOU for the answer. And I was not aware of that. I might have opened one, not really sure though. But I WILL NOT do it again once I submit it. Thanks for that tidbit of info. Hope you have a great day!!!!

ok. one more question (i hope). I am trying to add my profile page link to my profile here. but when i click on edit profile the only thing that pops up is to change my email or password. so i click on change email or password and the same screen. am i doing something wrong with that?

Forum profile is hopelessly broken for a couple of years by now, and probably wouldn't be fixed until forum gets a new front end, with probably wouldn't happen until long after the new design of story side will be considered finished, and for all we know it may take years still (as it's alleged there's effectively one person working on it, and conceivably not even full time, at least not on that as a project).

If you fill out your profile on the stories side and then create forum user with the same name/email some (but not all) of it may or may not copy over, but be uneditable after creation. That was how it was when I joined here, it may have deteriorated further since.
