Drug use in a story??

Is this allowed? I have an idea for a story arc where that would come into play. But I don't want to write it if it will get rejected.


Can someone let me know if this is allowed in a story or not?

Not an issue - used drug references many times and read many stories with them in.

There was a recent fairly long thread on this, may be worth scrolling down a few pages and giving it a look.

My story A Tale of Two Parties should be in that list. One whole section consists of two of my characters buying cocaine and sniffing it and having sex and rubbing it on the guy's penis and, well, you get the idea And in case you're wondering, although those two (Bonnie and the Wolfman) went through some travails, there was no need for them to be punished for the drug use to get approved (they had some issues with a cult that planned human sacrifice but that was separate from the drugs.)

No one's commented on the drug use, positively or negatively.

Casual use of marijuana and alcohol are rife in many of my other stories.

Drug use, underage drug use, drugs used by corrupt cops, drugs used as blackmail, drugs used as payment for sexual favors... I've written them all. Nobody has complained.
