Alrighty, then. A little bad sci-fi soothes the soul.
(Also a cure for sheer stress exhaustion and freezing-your-bottom-off PTSD.)
Jenny, you might want to cover your eyes. Hotwords, this one is for you!
(And possibly Investor. I can’t remember if you like homages.)
Weresquito: Nazi Hunter (2016)
That’s right.
This is the eleventh film of the Mihniverse, the first flick of which I reference in post…eh, I am too tired to go search.
Oh, boy. This is, actually, WONDERFULLY DELICIOUS. Pure 50’s homage. Monochromatic filming, with the exception of crimson red splashes for de bloooood!
-Potential Romance?
-Mad scientist?
-Weird nicknames?
-Baaaad wigs?
-Hysterical special effects?
-Twist ending?
Got. You. Covered.
The budget on his films seems to ride the 10k line. Impressive, and really surprising how well this one delivers. He overlaps actors between films in little easter egg moments. Fun. The surprise ending might be the best part. Oh, my.
Do yourself a favor and watch it with the subtitles on….
