High heels

It can be difficult for husbands because they like the look so much, that their insistence can sometimes get in the way. Understanding can go a long way into encouraging their wives to wear heels once and awhile.

1) Reinforce how she looks in them. Let her know how proud you are that she can stand out and be bold. Always appreciate her wearing them for you.

2) The biggest thing is to have patience. It's just going to take you longer to get where you are going (but she will look amazing in doing so).

3) Another thing is to plan things well so she does not have to walk far. Wait for that car to pull out of the parking space that is close to the door. Don't make her walk all the way across the parking lot at a restaurant.

4) Always have better shoes available in case its too much. That can be as simple as her switching to kitten heeled shoes or even flats, just so she is more comfortable. I would rather be with my wife on a date looking more casual, then insist she wear heels and not go on the date at all.

5) It does not have to be all or nothing. Sometimes my wife will just wear heels to a certain event, like dinner at a nice restaurant, but wear flats to the game inside the arena (lots of walking). That's okay.

6). Reward her afterwards with a foot rub. Most women will let a serial killer rub her feet. If she is going to wear painful shoes for you, let her always be rewarded with some unselfish, enjoyable time.

I really respect you're understanding of your Wife's needs...

Dance floor is another potential for disaster..

The biggest place we see issues with high heels is at weddings because a lot of woman wear them only to those events, and unlike my wife, they are not used to wearing them. Outside weddings are the worse because it means soft ground, gravel, etc.

We are never laughing at them, they just don't have a lot of experience wearing them, and so they are unsteady.

My wife will tell people if she can, discreetly; a few tricks to wearing them, like taking a shorter stride, and toeing in so that they do better.

It was kind of a bad chart because they used really tall heels but the differences in geographical areas was a very modest difference.

That being said. A 2 inch heel is what I would call a "kitten heel" or something you would see almost every lady wearing at a wedding, or in an office.

A 3 inch heel is a heel that a lady would wear to church or a noticeable lady at an office.

A 4 inch heel a lady might also wear to church, but it would be noticeable. Not outlandish, just, "she is wearing some pretty high heels". The same thing for work. Not outlandish, but on the upper side of what you would see. If you are going out with your wife, she would wear something in this range. I tend to buy 3-1/2 inch heels for my wife so they are church, and date-night shoes.

A 5 inch high heel is something strippers and woman of the night wear. They are pretty tall.

A 6 inch inch heel is something my wife wears only in the bedroom. Its just too much for her to wear anywhere of purpose...and she lives in high heels.

Some might differ on their opinion of that, but that is a general breakdown.

That's a pretty good breakdown actually.

I love wearing heels. The pain is bested by how sexy they make me look and feel. That said, over 4" is bedroom for me.

Thanks ChrissyCD64... Interesting... Do you find the sweet spot for yourself (if you don't me asking) is a 3 inch heel?
I always wear at least a 3" at home even if it's just my wife and I here. If we have company over I wear a 4". Our daughter-in-law left a pair of her 5" heels that she wears for work (she's a lawyer) here for me to try, but I can't walk in them yet.

I can see why. At that height she would be almost intimidating, or at least on level with her male co-workers or court adversaries.

There is a lot at play within the confines of a courtroom. Good for your Daughter-in-law!

I am not trying to start any argument here because we all like different things, but I never cared for strappy heels all that much. I never told that to my wife who has a few pairs like this. Five inch heels to them that she wears if we are clubbing (pre-covid 19 obviously). But I guess it makes sense for dancing.

Kind of hard to dance in pumps without them flying off!

Tethering her shoes to her ankles makes sense I guess!

So Sexy

I know heels can be a pain, but as a sexy leg lover, I love a woman in heels...and respect any woman w a bit of a shoe addiction... I’m always willing to give a foot massage as tribute if you’ll wear them as well...
