reflections

the pandemic has been weird, my friends have been wonderful. They get me food and meds, make me safe soap and body bars, take me to doctors and infusions if I am flaring. My doctors have been pretty darn great too. The sexy guy has been amazing considering the obstacles. Also groups with online presentations and get togethers, the zoom parties, phone calls, drive by "visors", the clan, live streaming concerts, and performances, I have even attended on line sci fi conventions.
All these things have made life more bearable through the lockdowns, shingles, riots, shootings, continuous car jackings, the trial and other assorted unpleasantness.
I am not sure what it will be like at the end of the pandemic, most of the place I used to go without a thought are no longer safe or gone, some burned to the ground. Many establishments have closed. People are moving out of the cities even during the pandemic to the outer suburbs, even those who have always been city people like me. It's going to be interesting.
