As a massage therapist I am finding this thread intriguing.

Its true, the body may have an involuntary response to what appears to be arousal, particularly in males, after all, a major intent of manual therapy is freeing up space, opening blockages and restoring blood flow to areas of the body that may not be receiving it. Its usually not a big deal, I pretend not to notice and go about my business and nothing is ever said (to avoid embarrassment).

Of course, there is the occasional client who makes you wonder why he is really there, those are the creepy ones.

The older I get..the less chance of arousal during a massage. My poor old bones crave attention and there is much pleasure....not happy ending kind of pleasure...to feel someone work out those kinks and spots one can never hit on our own...closing my eyes and just feeling the tension escape my body is as close to arousing as I get.
