It's on the Times homepage this very minute. It's gotten plenty of coverage, especially considering that stories on state government fuckups (as opposed to actual scandal or crime) rarely become national stories.


Cuomo is benefiting from the same dynamic that worked in Trump's favor: most people look at the pandemic as "something that happened" and not the fault of the government. And there's not much that could have been done about the virus circulating undetected all over New York City last February. Having said that, for this and other reasons Cuomo seems to have worn out his welcome, if my Twitter people are any indication.
