H.R. 127: Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act

--Sets up a National Public Registry of Firearms

--Requires LICENSING for the possession of any and all firearms, including:

--21 yrs old
--criminal background check
--TRAINING course
--Psycho Eval
--Proof of insurance

HUZZAH! HUZZAH!

Incels and all other substitute penis owners are peeing their pants!

--Proof of insurance

I've said before that homeowner's and liability insurance should be involved in firearms ownership and storage requirements. And fire codes should deal with ammunition storage and quantity on site, the same way they deal with fuel storage.

Not in the slightest. Enjoy the fantasy though!!:D

The possibility of background checks as a condition of firearm ownership seems to have triggered both of our half-breeds today.

Wonder why that is?

The only thing I don't like is the "Psych Evaluation." That is absolutely unfeasible to have psychologists interviewing all potential gun owners. Instead they should run a checklist of Risk Factors (such as Domestic Abuse) and then further inquiry if needed.

You do realize that to buy a firearm in all 50 states, you already have to go through a federal background check, right?

He's a diehard partisan with an enemies list and when it comes to lambasting
and impugning his enemies, he will not let facts or truth stand in his way.

I agree. But there needs to be something in lieu of what an evaluation does. I think it is far better to link online posting to a database. No more anonymous posting. Those touting hate...need to turn over their guns. They are sick

No, that is a lie.

"Background checks are required for all gun purchases through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), which includes retailers (anyone from Walmart to mom and pop shops) and some individuals. You do not need to undergo a background check if you buy a gun through some private sales. You can check the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to see FFLs in your state....

"If you decide to buy a gun from an FFL, you have to fill out a 4473 Form (also called a Firearms Transaction Record). After you fill out the form, the person selling you a gun will run your information through NICS, which is maintained by the FBI."

Sounds like you are somewhat uninformed. Again.

Thanks for the information.

*chuckle*

Totalitarians love universal gun registries.

Authoritarians and totalitarians. Funny that they come waving the flag of "liberal" and "progressive" lol. Sad that anyone buys it.

LOL not the reason you would like to think.

I'm far deeper into the program than simple ownership bubba, the ATF did mine personally, investigated and interviewed me.

They found a perfectly squared away security contractor and former operator with a spotless record and all the generic security clearances that come with being part of a high end military unit.

Define "hate" and then point out where that clause is on the 2nd amendment. :D

Come and take them bitch....

If the Gov. wants a war then pass that bill.

Nah.....even if they managed to pass it, the SCOTUS would nuke that fucker in about 5 min and most of the DNC knows it.

It's so antithetical to both the language of the Constitution and precedence it probably wouldn't even be partisan either. This is just dick waving to get the gun nuts all riled up.

No, that is a lie.

Gun dealers in all 50 states are required by law to run background checks.

There are some very limited exceptions to federal background checks. Private party non-dealer sales are allowed without running a background check in some states, but even that is limited because 22 states require background checks for private party sales. Because those states are generally the most populous, the majority of private party sales require background checks. One other exception is certain people who hold government issued conceal carry permits are exempt.

Just listen to these penis-challenged idiots crying about having to license and register their guns.

Oh! Oh! The end of the world!

No one's saying you can't get one, morons. But we will make it harder and safer to do so. Fuck off.

No....you won't, you don't have the democratic juice sister, you can't even ban AR-15's, just some of their features.

So enjoy the fantasy while it lasts. :D

This happens in the UK. While you can't own a handgun or rifle, almost anyone can get a shotgun license, except convicted criminals who were sentenced to a longish jail term. You have to have a secure approved gun cabinet.

Your sanity is not really tested.
